Simple fruit is the way to go

These days everything looks so fancy. We have to make all fruit taste better and look fancier by trying out new combinations and toppings. But does no one realise that we are no longer eating good old PLAIN food! That apple that you used to grab while running out the door or the banana after breaky. But plain fruit is still here and still very healthy.
We recently ran a survey about which types of fruit were easiest to eat and the best tasting for all occasions here is our top five fruit for all occasions
1. Mango ~ summer
Mango is a great relaxing fruit that is nice and cool especially in summer. Mango can be messy and slow to eat but is very enjoyable and perfect for those summer days by the beach.

2. oranges ~ winter
In winter oranges are in season and fresh. When eating oranges be warned they can contain lots of juice and are not recommended for people with braces as they can be a bit stringy. A lot of the time people cut the oranges but you can peel them, which is more time consuming.

3. grapes ~ quick snack
Grapes are a very good fruit. They are not only small but they are quick to eat and contain a small edible seed which means there is no waste or rubbish to throw out. Grapes can be just thrown in a container and taken to work with little effort to pack up.

4. Banana ~ cheapest fruit
Banana are the fast food of the fruit world. I'm not saying they are unhealthy, I mean they are the cheapest (generally) and very fast to eat. They contain no seed but have a skin which means they are not the fastest to eat. Bananas also store for a very long time, during this time they continue to develop. There are three stages; green, yellow and yellow and black. When the banana is green it is not as sweet but it continually gets sweeter till it is very sweet at the end.

5. Blackberries ~ healthiest fruit
Out of all fruits blackberries are the healthiest. They contain the least sugar and calories per 100g compared to all fruit. Blackberries, like most berries contain a small, edible seed and so, like grapes are very easy to eat. Black berries are not very popular currently but are still very delecious and healthy.
